Do you have a research idea or a challenge that the UDOT Research & Innovation Division could help with? Would you like to learn more about research at UDOT? Sign up and join us for our Research Ideas Open House on Thursday, February 5th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the Redwood Conference Rooms at the Calvin Rampton Complex. This is a fantastic opportunity to:

• Meet researchers: Network with experts from universities and consulting firms who are available to help with transportation research.

• Discuss your research interests: Share your research needs and ideas and explore potential collaborations.

• Understand UDOT’s research processes: Learn how UDOT selects research projects for funding and implementation.

This open house kicks off UDOT’s annual research prioritization process. The deadline for UDOT champions to submit problem statements for this year's funding cycle is March 9th, 2026.
