Rampton and MTF Building Access Card Update

As we continue transitioning to new building access cards at the Calvin Rampton Complex and Material Testing Facility (MTF), we’d like to share a few clarifications for employees who may need access to these buildings.

Employees who regularly work in the Calvin Rampton Complex or MTF should already have updated access. However, some card access did not transfer as expected. If your card does not work when attempting to enter, please contact Elida Stults at elidastults@utah.gov so your access can be reviewed and updated.

Employees based at other UDOT locations who occasionally need access to the Calvin Rampton Complex or MTF should note:

• Daytime access during normal business hours can be requested by emailing your card number to elidastults@utah.gov in advance.

• Weekend or after-hours access requires a completed justification form and approval from your group leader or region director before access can be added. (Please fill out the Rampton Complex Building Access Adobe request form.)

During the transition, employees who visit these facilities should carry both old and new cards until all readers are updated. Cards should not be kept in the same holder, as this may prevent the reader from working.
