Region Three Equipment Road-eo Puts Skills to the Test
UDOT Region Three employees gathered at the Heber Shed on May 28 for the 2026 Region Three Road-eo, an annual event that highlights the talent, precision, and teamwork of our maintenance crews through friendly equipment competitions.
The Road-eo brought together employees from across the region for a day of camaraderie, skill-building, and a little healthy competition. Participants tested their abilities in five events: backhoe, loader, truck & trailer, mini excavator, and skid steer operations.
New this year were two novice events featuring a skid steer and mini excavator, giving first-time or inexperienced operators a chance to safely get behind the controls in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. The new events were a great addition and helped encourage even more participation across the region.
In addition to the competitions, employees enjoyed lunch together and celebrated the hard work and dedication that go into maintaining Region Three’s roadways year-round.
