The Future of Utah’s Airspace Is Taking Flight

Utah has teamed up with Arizona, Idaho, Oregon, and Oklahoma to submit an important proposal for the Federal Aviation Administration’s Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) Integration Pilot Program. eVTOLs are electric aircraft that take off like helicopters but fly with the efficiency of an airplane—opening the door to an entirely new way of moving people and services.
